Stories That Stayed With Me | Part Three
The Cupp Family
Some sessions leave a mark on your heart… and this was one of them.
From the very first moments, there was this energy—this beautiful, joyful, a little bit wild kind of love that filled the room. The kind that doesn’t try to be perfect… it just is. Real, loud, tender, and overflowing.
Five little ones, full of personality, laughter, movement… and somehow, right in the middle of it all, Sharee and Dallas. Calm. Steady. Smiling. Like they’ve found the rhythm in what most would call chaos.
And it made me stop and just take it in.
Because what I saw wasn’t chaos at all… it was connection.
Little arms wrapped tight around necks. Giggles that couldn’t be contained. The way they all leaned into each other without even thinking. The way those kids looked at their mom and dad… like they were their whole world.
And maybe my favorite part… watching Sharee and Dallas together in it all. The glances, the quiet teamwork, the unspoken understanding. The kind of love that has been built in the everyday moments—the long days, the loud nights, the in-between. The kind that says, we’re in this together, no matter what.
It’s easy to think you need quiet, stillness, perfectly posed moments to create something beautiful…
But this session was proof that sometimes the most meaningful magic lives right in the middle of the noise.
In the belly laughs.
In the messy, wiggly, can’t-sit-still moments.
In the way love shows up without asking for permission.
I left this session smiling the entire drive home… and honestly, still thinking about it days later.
Because this family reminded me of something I think we all need to remember.
That there is so much beauty in the now.
In the busy.
In the imperfect, fleeting, loud, love-filled seasons of life.
Cupp family… thank you for letting me step into your world for a little while. It was something special. Truly.
These are the moments that matter.
Stories that stayed with me will continue next Sunday.
